The world is amazed by Ukrainians bravely and effectively resisting the Russian aggression. Ukrainian spirit is strong and their resolve is unwavering. It is crucial that Ukraine is not left alone in this fight. We strongly believe that providing help on a smaller scale, but in a targeted way, is not less important than helping at the level of nations. ShiŠµld Ukraine is a nonprofit organization operating exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We provide humanitarian aid and emergency relief, support students and refugees, and promote other charitable initiatives for the people of Ukraine.
Russian bombs and missiles are raining on Ukraine. Innocent people, including children, are dying. Three million people left Ukraine and became refugees. Even more were forced to leave their homes and move to a safer place. Everyone is shocked and appalled by the atrocities committed by the Russian army: torturing and executing women and children in Bucha and Irpen, shelling refugee convoys from Mariupol and Kharkiv, not letting humanitarian aid to Mariupol. As the Russian army recedes, we become witnesses of numerous war crimes.
The war in Ukraine is not a local conflict, this is a struggle between the Free World and tyranny. Ukrainian spirit is strong and their resolve is unwavering. Ukrainians are fighting bravely and effectively, not only for their independence, but for the freedom of each and one of us. It is crucial that Ukraine is not left alone in this fight. We strongly believe that providing help on a smaller scale, but in a targeted way, is not less important than helping at the level of nations.
This is the reason we started our nonprofit organization ShieldUkraine.US
Acting on a smaller scale can be faster and more efficient
Our mission: We provide humanitarian aid and emergency relief, support students and refugees, and promote other charitable initiatives for the people of Ukraine within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3). Even before consolidating Shield Ukraine our network sent tens of thousands of dollars worth life-saving supplies from Europe to Ukraine, from tourniquets to ballistic vests. We are extending our network in the US.
Efficiency: Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, we created a logistics network with our friends and volunteers from Europe, allowing for delivery of supplies to Ukrainian cities. Operating on a smaller scale allows us to be more precise and targeted in providing help very fast. We have direct contact with different people on the ground whose specific needs we are trying to meet.
Please, consider donating, spread the word about our organization and efforts. With us, you provide life-saving equipment to real people. We hope that our contribution will be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back.
